The inscription reads 中華民國 (Republic of China) in the upper register, 新疆阿克蘇造 (Made in Xinjiang Aksu) in the middle, and 當紅錢十文 (Equal to ten cash) in the lower register, all within a plain raised rim. Reverse description Cast copper reverse displaying a large stylised Arabic Tughra or calligraphic device dominating the central field, rendered in bold raised relief with diagonal hatching filling the background. The legend in Arabic script reads ضرب اقسو اون داچن ليك (Struck at Aksu, ten cash), distributed around the central device within a plain raised rim.
