At centre, a framed rectangular inset depicts a riverside scene with wind-bent trees executed in an intricate, graphic linear style, while the surrounding field continues the naturalistic landscape motif with reeds, shrubs, and distant hills in textured relief. The painter's signature facsimile appears at lower left of the inset. Below the central design, the legend SPÁNYI BÉLA flanked by a decorative mint star device and the dates 1852–1914 are inscribed in bold sans-serif lettering across the lower exergue. |
