Obverse description Central field occupied by a bold, deeply struck calligraphic legend in Persian Nasta'liq script, giving the royal titulature of Fath Ali Shah Qajar and the regnal year 1213 AH. The inscription is arranged in multiple registers filling the flan, with the name and titles of the sovereign rendered in large, interlocking letterforms characteristic of early Qajar die-cutting. The field shows a slightly irregular, hand-hammered surface consistent with the striking technique of the period. No figurative devices or borders are present; the composition is entirely typographic in the Persianate royal tradition.
