| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a bold nastaliq calligraphic inscription occupying the full field, enclosed within a scalloped or lobed border formed by a series of small raised dots. The central legend records the mint name and AH regnal date, reading 'Zarb Dar al-Saltana Tehran' (struck at the seat of sovereignty, Tehran) together with the AH date 1217. The word 'Zarb' (struck) is prominently rendered in the centre of the composition. The scalloped dotted border frames the inscription and is a hallmark of the Tehran mint style under Fath Ali Shah.
