| Obverse description | Central field displays the state emblem of the Mongolian People's Republic (1960–1992 type), depicting a mounted horseman galloping leftward before a rising sun, set within a wreath of wheat ears and framed by a decorative shield. The abbreviation БНМАУ appears on a ribbon at the base of the emblem. The circular legend БҮГД НАЙРАМДАХ МОНГОЛ АРД УЛС runs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic script.
