| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Archbishop Sigismund III (von Schrattenbach) within a beaded or dotted border, with the mintmaster's initials FM appearing as a signature beneath the bust in the lower field. The encircling Latin legend, commencing at approximately 8 o'clock, reads the full abbreviated titulature of the Archbishop as Prince of Salzburg, Apostolic Legate Born, and Primate of Germany. The portrait is rendered in a refined Baroque style consistent with mid-18th century Austrian ecclesiastical coinage. |
