Obverse description Draped bust of Archbishop Sigismund von Schrattenbach facing right, wearing ecclesiastical vestments including a rochet and pectoral cross, with curled wig. The portrait occupies the central field with the engraver's initials F.M.K. visible in the lower exergue beneath the truncation. The circular Latin legend runs along the inner border of the reeded rim.

Reverse description Elaborate quartered oval shield of arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg, surmounted by an archiepiscopal hat with tasselled cords descending on either side, flanked by a processional cross and a crosier in saltire behind the shield. The heraldic achievement is richly detailed in Baroque style, with the date divided on either side of the hat above. The circular Latin legend is arranged around the periphery, reading across both upper and lower portions of the coin.
