Obverse description Two oval heraldic shields displayed side by side — the dexter shield bearing the arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg (a rampant lion on a divided field), the sinister shield bearing the personal arms of Archbishop Sigismund von Schrattenbach — both surrounded by elaborate baroque scrollwork and foliate ornaments. Above the shields, an archiepiscopal cross and a cardinal's hat with pendant tassels form the ecclesiastical regalia. The whole composition is richly adorned in high-relief baroque style. The circular legend runs around the periphery of the coin.
