| Obverse description | Within a cloud formation with radiating rays, an angel faces left holding an ornamental frame containing a depiction of the Madonna and Child. To the left of the central design, a heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Archbishop is displayed. The circular legend, commencing at 12 o'clock, reads the full titular inscription of Archbishop Sigismund von Schrattenbach. The composition is rendered in high relief with finely detailed baroque styling characteristic of Salzburg coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |

| Reverse description | St. Rupert, patron saint of Salzburg, is depicted standing in full figure, wearing episcopal vestments. At his feet are his traditional attributes: a salt box and a heraldic shield bearing the arms of the city and archbishopric of Salzburg. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, commencing at 12 o'clock, with the date 1758 incorporated into the legend at the base. The figure is rendered with careful baroque detail consistent with the engraving style of the Salzburg mint during this period. |
