| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, wearing a widow's veil, diadem, and brooch at the décolletage, with elaborately curled hair visible beneath the veil. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style, with fine detail on the lace and drapery of the imperial robes. The circular Latin legend is divided across the upper field, reading M THERESIA D G on the right and R IMP HU BO REG on the left, separated by the portrait. The coin is struck within a finely milled border. |
