| Obverse description | Armoured bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, the crown of the head and the lower edge of the bust touching the inner rim, thereby bisecting the surrounding Latin legend into upper and lower portions. The emperor is depicted in elaborate plate armour with ornate detailing. The effigy fills the field with commanding presence, characteristic of late Baroque portraiture on Habsburg coinage. |
