Reverse description Central device consists of the elaborately crowned coat of arms of the Danish-Norwegian union, incorporating the quartered arms of Denmark, Norway, and Holstein, flanked symmetrically on either side by laurel branches. The crowned shield is rendered in fine detail and is surrounded by a circular legend along the periphery, with the mint master's initials and mintmark incorporated into the legend between the date elements.
