| Reverse description | Within an inner beaded circle, the Norwegian royal arms: a crowned, two-tailed rampant lion facing left, grasping a halberd in its foreclaws. The date is divided at either side of the central device within the circle. A circumferential Latin legend occupies the outer field, separated from the central motif by a beaded ring. The lion is rendered in high relief with fine heraldic detail consistent with early 17th-century Danish-Norwegian coinage. |
