| 表面の説明 | The Doge Marco Corner depicted kneeling to the left in ducal robes, holding an upright banner or gonfalon staff in his right hand. The figure is rendered in the characteristic Gothic style of Venetian medieval coinage, with fine drapery detail visible in the field. A circular legend surrounds the central device, reading the Doge's name and title in abbreviated Latin. |

Marco Corner's soldino series is notable primarily for how briefly it existed — his dogeship lasted just three years, cut short by his death in 1368. Venice's soldino at this weight was already a diminished denomination by the mid-fourteenth century, the silver content having been progressively reduced across successive administrations as the mint struggled to balance bullion costs against the demands of Levantine trade. Corner's issues represent one of the shortest production windows in the late medieval Venetian soldino sequence.
