Obverse description Central field features the interlaced and mirrored royal cypher of King Frederik V — comprising two intertwined script 'F' letters flanking a central 'V' (for Quintus, i.e. the Fifth) — rendered in an elaborate baroque calligraphic style. The monogram is surmounted by a large royal crown with arched bands and orb finial. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border running along the coin's periphery, with a further milled or reeded rim visible at the edge.
