| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the interlaced and mirrored royal cypher of King Frederik IV, formed by two ornately intertwined script 'F' letters beneath the numeral IV, creating a symmetrical monogram. The device is surmounted by an elaborate royal crown with arched bands and orb finial. The lower portion of the monogram terminates in decorative foliate scrollwork, filling the lower field. The coin border is defined by a raised inner rim with a beaded outer edge, with no peripheral legend. |
