Obverse description Draped bust of Carl XIV Johan facing right, rendered in high relief with elaborately curled hair and a ribbon-tied queue visible at the neck. The effigy displays strong neoclassical portraiture typical of the Bernadotte dynasty coinage. The circumferential legend is incuse and reads CARL XIV SVERIGES NORR.G.O.V. KONUNG, distributed around the upper and lower periphery of the field. A raised inner border ring frames the design.

Reverse description Central design features two crossed palm branches whose stems divide the field vertically, framing the denomination and date. The numeral '1' and the word 'SKILLING' appear in the central field flanked by two of the Three Crowns of Sweden at either side, with a third crown positioned below the denomination, forming a triangular arrangement around the value. The date 1832 is inscribed below the central motif. A raised inner border ring frames the entire reverse composition.
