| Reverse description | A large Swiss federal cross occupies the central field in high relief, its squared arms clearly delineated against the smooth ground. Below the cross, the denomination and date are inscribed in two lines reading 1 SILBERTALER and 1964 in bold upright lettering. Encircling the entire design along the inner border is a continuous ring of twenty-two individual cantonal coats of arms rendered in detailed relief, each shield separated by a narrow interval. Below the central inscription, the fineness mark 0.833 and the mintmark HF appear in a small cartouche at the base of the field. |
