Obverse description Central field dominated by the Visconti biscione (biscia), depicted as a large crowned serpent devouring a child, rendered in raised relief with prominent beaded detailing along its coiled body. The heraldic charge is flanked by the initials G and Z (for Galeazzo) in the field, one on each side of the serpent. The design is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin legend running in the outer margin separated by pellet stops.
