| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device depicting the crossed keys of Riga, rendered in a bold heraldic style with the two keys crossed saltire-wise, set within a beaded inner circle. Small decorative elements appear in the angles of the keys. A continuous Latin legend in Gothic lettering surrounds the central device, referencing the coin's status as a new coinage of Riga, with the last two digits of the date '49' incorporated into the legend. |

Johann von der Recke served as Livonian Master for only two years, 1549–1551, before the Order's political position in the Baltic became untenable under growing pressure from Ivan IV and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. His coinage is consequently scarce across all types. The "bumpy top" designation in Haljak distinguishes a specific die variety by the irregular upper edge profile — a production artifact, not damage — and collectors working the Livonian series treat it as a discrete collectible rather than a sub-variety.
