Reverse description Central device depicts the heraldic shield of the Teutonic Order, divided into four quarters by a bold cross, set within a beaded inner circle. The shield is plain and unadorned, presented in a stark, authoritative style typical of Livonian Order coinage of the mid-sixteenth century. The surrounding legend, interspersed with pellets, references the Master of the Teutonic Order in Livonia along with the date. The legend runs continuously around the periphery within a beaded border.
