Obverse description Central field displays a quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Münster and associated territories, arranged around a central boss. The four quarters contain the characteristic episcopal and dynastic devices of Francis of Waldeck, including the Waldeck star and Münster cross motifs. A circular border of beads frames the design, with the abbreviated Latin legend of the issuer distributed around the periphery. The hammered flan exhibits characteristic irregular edges and surface texture consistent with mid-16th century German ecclesiastical coinage. A small suspension hole is visible near the upper rim.

Reverse description The reverse depicts the standing figures of Saints Peter and Paul, the patron saints of Münster Cathedral, facing one another in Gothic style. Saint Peter, on the left, is shown holding his attribute keys, while Saint Paul, on the right, bears a sword. Between the two figures rises a tall cross or staff surmounted by a papal tiara or similar ecclesiastical emblem. A beaded inner border surrounds the design, with the abbreviated names of the two saints distributed in the surrounding legend field. The overall artistic style is characteristic of late medieval German hammered silver coinage.
