| Reverse description | Central device comprising a crossed sword and key — the heraldic attributes of the Bishopric of Dorpat — surmounted by a large bow, all set within a beaded inner circle. The design is characteristic of Livonian episcopal schillings of the late 15th century. A circular legend in uncial Latin script surrounds the central device, reading MONET · TARP, an abbreviation for Moneta Darpatensis, denoting the coin's monetary and geographic authority. The fields are worn and the flan irregular, as expected for hammered billon issues of this series. |
