Reverse description The central field displays the denomination and issuer in three lines — ONE RUPEE / INDIA / date — separated by a horizontal rule between ONE RUPEE and INDIA, all within an ornate cartouche formed by elaborate scrolling acanthus and floral vines. The floral framework features thistle-like blossoms, stylized lotus flowers, and curling foliage arranged symmetrically around the central inscription. The design is enclosed by a beaded border running along the inner rim of the coin.
