Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing the royal Persian-script legend in bold, flowing Nasta'liq calligraphy occupying the entire field. The central inscription reads the imperial titles of Shah Alam II, styled as 'Shah Alam Bahadur Ghazi', arranged in three registers across the coin's face. A horizontal cartouche-like band divides the field, with the regnal epithet above and the emperor's name and title below. The AH date appears within the legend field. The coin exhibits characteristic irregular, slightly convex flan shaping typical of late Mughal hammered coinage.

Reverse description Hammered silver reverse displaying the mint and regnal year information in Nasta'liq calligraphy filling the entire field. The legend records the regnal year (sanah) and the auspicious accession formula 'julus maimnat manus', with the mint name 'Zarb Akbarabad' (struck at Akbarabad) prominently inscribed in the lower register. Bold, sweeping strokes characteristic of Mughal die-cutting are evident throughout the field. The flan edges are irregular, consistent with hand-struck Mughal production. The reverse layout follows the standard late Mughal rupee format for the Akbarabad (Agra) mint.
