| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Persian calligraphic inscription in bold Naskh script reading 'Sikka Mubarak Badshah Ghazi', the auspicious legend of Emperor Muhammad Shah. The AH regnal date appears within the field, framed by floral or dotted border ornaments characteristic of Mughal hammered silver coinage. The inscription is arranged in two or three registers, with flowing cursive strokes typical of the period's die-cutting artistry. |
