Reverse description Central field displaying the mint name 'Surat' and the Hijri date in bold Nasta'liq script, arranged in two curvilinear registers separated by a horizontal dividing line. The upper register bears the regnal year in words, while the lower register identifies the mint. Floral or foliate ornamental devices appear in the field as spacers, consistent with Mughal hammered rupee convention. The flan edge is slightly irregular, characteristic of hand-struck production.
