The regnal year (RY) numeral appears in the lower field in Arabic numerals. Floral and dot ornaments are interspersed between the lines of inscription, consistent with Mughal artistic conventions at the Lahore mint. The coin displays the characteristic irregular flan shape typical of hammered Mughal rupees of this period. |
