Reverse description The reverse displays a two-line Persian inscription in Nasta'liq script, separated by a central horizontal line. The upper register records the regnal year preceded by 'Sanah' (year) followed by the auspicious accession formula 'Julus Maimanat Manus', while the lower register bears the mint name 'Zarb Zafarpur' identifying the place of striking. A small floral or pellet ornament appears in the field. The deeply struck calligraphy and broad flat flan are typical of Aurangzeb-era Zafarpur rupees.
