Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing a two-line Persian couplet in Naskh script within a central cartouche divided by a horizontal line. The upper field carries the legend praising the coin as radiant as the full moon, while the lower field names the emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir. The calligraphy is bold and deeply struck, characteristic of Mughal imperial coinage. Floral or foliate decorative elements appear in the marginal areas, and the AH regnal date is positioned within the lower register.
