| Reverse description | Central field bearing three horizontal registers of Nasta'liq calligraphy, recording the emperor's name and titles along with the mint name Akbarnagar and the regnal year (RY). The Arabic numeral ۴ appears as part of the regnal year inscription, consistent with issues struck from regnal year 12 through regnal year 51 of Aurangzeb's reign. The flan is slightly irregular and broad, characteristic of hand-struck Mughal silver rupees. |
