Obverse description Square flan with plain borders, the entire field occupied by a bold two-line Arabic Kalima inscription executed in deep-relief Naskh calligraphy. The first line reads the Shahada declaration of faith, and the second line the name of the Prophet. The lettering is deeply struck and bold, characteristic of the late Akbari hammered style, with the inscription filling the field to the margins.
