| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a two-line Persian legend in bold naskh calligraphy divided by a horizontal line across the coin's field. The upper register reads 'سکه مبارک بادشاه غازی' (Sikka Mubarak Badshah Ghazi — the auspicious coin of the warrior king), while the lower register bears the royal name 'احمد شاه بهادر' (Ahmad Shah Bahadur). Decorative floral or pellet ornaments are visible in the field. The inscription fills the flan to its edges in typical Mughal hammered rupee style, with no portraiture. |

| Reverse description | Hammered silver flan with a two-line Persian legend in naskh script divided by a horizontal ruled line across the field. The upper register carries the formula 'سنه جلوس میمنت مانوس' (Sana Julus Maimanat Manus — the auspicious year of accession), while the lower register records the mint name 'ضرب بریلی' (Zarb Bareli — struck at Bareli). Floral or pellet ornaments punctuate the field. The regnal year (RY) and Hijri year appear on individual specimens within this series, consistent with standard Mughal rupee practice at provincial mints. |
