Reverse description Reverse displays a multi-line Persian nastaliq inscription divided into two or three horizontal registers by plain linear rules. The upper register bears a portion of the imperial titles of Aurangzeb Alamgir, while the central field carries the mint epithet and date elements. The lower register contains the AH date and/or regnal year (RY). Pellet ornaments flank portions of the legend as decorative separators. The script is bold and deeply struck, consistent with the hammered coinage of the Azamnagar (Gokak) mint.
