| Obverse description | At centre, the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle displayed, surmounted by three imperial crowns, holding an orb and sceptre in its talons and bearing a shield depicting St. George slaying the dragon on its breast. The curved legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (Russian Federation) arcs along the upper periphery. Below the eagle, the inscription БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) appears in two lines above 1 РУБЛЬ (1 Rouble) and the date 2020 г. To the lower left of the eagle, the fineness mark Ag 925 is inscribed, and to the lower right the weight designation 7,78 appears alongside the Saint Petersburg Mint privy mark (СПМД). Two small decorative lozenge ornaments flank the eagle at mid-field. |
