| Obverse description | At centre, the coat of arms of Transnistria (Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic) depicted in high relief, featuring a Soviet-style emblem with a hammer and sickle surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by sheaves of wheat and ears of corn, with a rising sun and banner motif at the base. The circular legend ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК runs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic characters. The denomination 1 РУБЛЬ is inscribed in bold lettering in the lower central field, with the date 2021 flanked by two small dots beneath it. |

| Reverse description | At centre, the emblem of the Border Authorities of the MGB (Ministry of State Security) of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, rendered as a heraldic shield bearing a stylised map of Transnistria alongside a border post, with the inscription МГБ ПМР on a scroll at the base of the shield, and the arc legend ПОГРАНИЧНОЕ УПРАВЛЕНИЕ encircling the interior. A vertically oriented sword is superimposed over the shield with its point directed downward. The founding and anniversary years 1992 and 2022 appear in the field to either side of the shield.
