Inscribed within the structure of the thumbprint is the Belarusian legend ГРУНВАЛЬДСКАЯ БІТВА (The Battle of Grunwald), together with the date of the historic battle, 15.07.1410. 附加信息	The Battle of Grunwald in 1410 was one of the largest pitched battles in medieval European history, involving somewhere between 30,000 and 40,000 combatants on each side. A coalition of Polish and Lithuanian forces — the latter including Ruthenian and Tatar contingents under Vytautas the Great — decisively crushed the Teutonic Knights, effectively ending the Order's military dominance in the region. Belarus's claim to the commemoration runs through the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, of which Belarusian territories formed a substantial part. The 600th anniversary in 2010 prompted commemorative issues from multiple states with competing national narratives about the battle's significance.
