| 正面描述 | Central device depicts the national emblem of Oman: two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid by a belt, with a traditional Omani sword (saif) superimposed, all rendered in fine relief within a plain inner circle. Flanking the emblem to the left is the Latin denomination legend ONE RIAL and to the right the Arabic equivalent ريال واحد. An inner annular band carries the Arabic legend سلطنة عمان (Sultanate of Oman) arching above, while SULTANATE OF OMAN curves below the emblem within the same band. The outer legend البنك المركزي العماني arches across the upper field and CENTRAL BANK OF OMAN along the lower border, separated by two five-pointed stars in the left and right fields. |

| 背面描述 | A detailed frontal view of Bait Al-Na'aman Castle occupies the central field, depicting the historic fortification with its characteristic rounded corner towers, crenellated battlements, and a flagpole flying the Omani flag at center. The Arabic legend حصن بيت النعمان (Bait Al-Na'aman Castle) curves along the upper border. Below the castle, the Latin inscription BAIT-AL-NA'AMAN CASTLE appears in two lines, with the dual dating 1416H-1995G in Latin numerals to the left and the corresponding Arabic-Indic numerals ١٤١٦هـ - ١٩٩٥م to the right, all set against a smooth field. |

Bait Al-Na'aman Castle, located near Barka on Oman's Batinah coast, was built in the late 17th century as a summer residence for the Ya'aruba imams — not a military fortification, which explains its comparatively refined architecture. It fell into serious disrepair before restoration work under Sultan Qaboos brought it back as a functioning heritage site. This coin is part of a broader commemorative program Qaboos used deliberately to document Omani architectural patrimony in silver, at a moment when rapid modernization was erasing physical traces of the pre-oil built environment.
