| Obverse description | Issued on 6 August 1914, the note carries a letterpress-printed header panel with the inscription STADT GEBWEILER in bold serif capitals within a decorative frame with ornamental corner rosettes. A large green guilloche underprint occupies the central field, over which the principal text reads Eine Reichsmark zahlt die Stadtkasse, followed by a clause referencing the bearer on demand. The date Gebweiler, den 6. August 1914 is printed centrally, with two manuscript signatures below, attributed respectively to Der Stadtrechnner (City Treasurer) at left and Der Bürgermeister (Mayor) at right, accompanied by a serial number in the left margin. |

A bold horizontal legend at the foot of the note states the validity period of two years. |
