The field surrounding the calligraphy is decorated with a dense pattern of pellets and fine floral scrollwork executed in the distinctive hammered style of early Qajar mint work. The overall composition fills the flan to its edge, with no inner circle or outer border legend, reflecting the Type E format associated with the Tehran mint issues of this reign. |
