| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a bold Nastaliq calligraphic legend arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal sword motif, a characteristic device of Fat'h Ali Shah Qajar coinage. The upper register bears the royal titulature of the shah, while the lower register continues the honorific inscription. The field surrounding the calligraphy is decorated with a dense pattern of pellets and fine floral scrollwork executed in the distinctive hammered style of early Qajar mint work. The overall composition fills the flan to its edge, with no inner circle or outer border legend, reflecting the Type E format associated with the Tehran mint issues of this reign. |
