| Mô tả mặt trước | The obverse bears a bold calligraphic legend in Nasta'liq script arranged in two registers across the field, divided by a horizontal bar. The upper register contains the royal epithet and the lower the royal name and title, reading 'Sikka-yi Fath Ali Shah Khusraw Sahib-Qiran' (Coin of Fath Ali Shah, King, Lord of the Auspicious Conjunction). Floral and vegetal ornaments fill the spaces between the inscription bands, rendered in a delicate hammered style. The border consists of a rope or pellet motif encircling the entire design. The irregular flan and surface texture are characteristic of the hand-struck coinage of the Qajar period. |

| Mô tả mặt sau | The reverse displays a two-register calligraphic legend in Nasta'liq script separated by a horizontal rule, giving the mint name and regnal year. The upper register reads 'Dar al-Saltana' (Seat of the Sultanate) and the lower register records the mint city Tabriz and the lunar Hijri date 1246. Floral sprays and small rosette ornaments decorate the interstices of the inscription, consistent with Qajar decorative conventions. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted or beaded inner border, itself surrounded by a further rope-pattern rim. The hand-hammered execution produces a lively, slightly irregular surface typical of provincial Qajar mint production. |
