Floral and vegetal ornaments fill the spaces between the inscription bands, rendered in a delicate hammered style. The border consists of a rope or pellet motif encircling the entire design. The irregular flan and surface texture are characteristic of the hand-struck coinage of the Qajar period. |

| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a two-register calligraphic legend in Nasta'liq script separated by a horizontal rule, giving the mint name and regnal year. The upper register reads 'Dar al-Saltana' (Seat of the Sultanate) and the lower register records the mint city Tabriz and the lunar Hijri date 1246.
