| 正面描述 | The Jersey coat of arms is positioned at the upper left, rendered in a mauve-purple letterpress print against a pale green guilloche underprint that covers the central field. The issuer name in Gothic script occupies the upper centre, with the bearer promise and denomination text arranged in italic script below, and the numeral '1' printed in large format at the right margin. The Treasurer's facsimile signature appears at lower right above the printed title, with the serial number repeated twice in black typeset numerals. |

| 备注 |
Jersey's German occupation issues are among the few instances where an occupied British territory produced its own emergency currency under Axis administration — and this note is the most artistically significant of them. Edmund Blampied, a Jersey-born etcher and illustrator of genuine international reputation, was commissioned to design the series. The Germans approved his work, apparently unaware that he had embedded subtle visual references legible only to those who knew the island.
Blampied later described the commission as the most uncomfortable of his career. The plates were engraved and printed locally under occupation conditions, not shipped to a metropolitan printer.
