正面描述 Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in the second definitive portrait modelled by Arnold Machin. The legend QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 1992 below the truncation. The portrait is presented in high relief against a flat field, with fine detail in the crown and facial features characteristic of the Machin style.

附加信息

Jersey's one-pound series of the early 1990s honored vessels with direct connections to the island's maritime history. The Hebe was a Jersey-built brigantine active in the Channel Islands trade during the nineteenth century — a type of vessel that defined the island's commercial reach before steam rendered it obsolete. Jersey's shipbuilding industry, concentrated around St. Aubin and St. Helier, launched hundreds of such craft between roughly 1820 and 1870, making the islands a significant but often overlooked force in British wooden shipbuilding.

KM#86 is one of several types issued that year under the same rotating maritime theme.
