| Reversbeschreibung | The reverse presents a stylised profile bust of a woman facing right, rendered in a modernist Egyptian artistic style blending pharaonic and contemporary aesthetics, with a radiant sun rising behind her head at upper right and an olive branch extending along her right side. To the left of the bust, a composition of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic and symbolic script elements fills the field in an architectural arrangement. The Arabic inscription '١٥ مايو ١٩٧١' (15 May 1971), denoting the date of President Sadat's Corrective Revolution, appears prominently to the upper left. The design is framed by the same dentilated inner border and segmented outer rim as the obverse. |

| Zusätzliche Informationen |
The "Corrective Revolution" issues commemorate Anwar Sadat's intra-party coup of May 15, 1971, in which he outmaneuvered the left wing of the Arab Socialist Union and consolidated power following Nasser's death. Sadat called it a correction — a purging of what he termed "centers of power" — and the subsequent years saw Egypt pivot sharply away from Soviet alignment toward the West, culminating in the 1979 peace treaty with Israel.
The coin's production window spanning 1977–1979 places it squarely within the Camp David negotiations period. KM#473 is sometimes encountered with inconsistent surface quality attributable to the .720 silver specification used across several Egyptian commemorative issues of the decade.
