Reverse description The entire reverse is printed in blue, centred on a large circular vignette of the Guernsey coat of arms — three golden lions passant on a shield — enclosed within a ring bearing the inscription THE STATES OF GUERNSEY. The arms are surrounded by elaborate lathe-work guilloche panels extending symmetrically to both sides, creating a dense engine-turned underprint typical of Perkins Bacon engraving. The printer's imprint appears in small text at the lower margin.
