| Obverse description | Within a multifoil inner circle surrounded by a beaded border, a displayed eagle with spread wings faces forward, rendered in bold relief in the medieval Sicilian heraldic tradition. The eagle, symbol of the Aragonese monarchy, occupies the central field with detailed feather work on the wings and body. An outer circular legend in Gothic/uncial Latin characters runs along the periphery of the coin, partially legible due to the irregular flan typical of hammered coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | The reverse of this hammered silver Pierreale of Queen Maria and King Martin of Sicily features a royal design within a lobed or multifoil inner border, with a circular Latin legend in Gothic uncial script running along the outer periphery. The central field presents heraldic imagery consistent with Aragonese Sicilian royal iconography of the late 14th century. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped, characteristic of hammered silver coinage of this era, with moderate die wear evident on the legend. |
