Obverse description Hammered copper flan bearing the name and titles of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir inscribed in Arabic script across the field. The legend reads 'Aurangzeb Alamgir' in bold, angular Naskh characters arranged in multiple lines within the circular coin surface. The strike is characteristic of late Mughal provincial coinage, with irregular flan edges and uneven surface relief. The field shows natural die wear and heavy patination consistent with circulation. No figurative imagery is present, in accordance with Islamic artistic conventions observed throughout Mughal coinage.
