| Obverse description | Irregular hammered copper flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in the field, reading a royal proclamation in praise of Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir. The inscription is struck in a bold, somewhat crude style typical of Mughal copper coinage, with the calligraphic text occupying the majority of the coin's surface. The flan edges are uneven and jagged, characteristic of hand-struck paisa issues of the period. No decorative border is present, and the surfaces show typical die-sinking irregularities consistent with hammered technique. |
